The youngest regular elected member of the Sangguniang Panlungsod for the term 2007-2010.
He is the son of former three-term City Councilor Atty. Cesar “Sang” Macaso Jimenez and the late Patria Angelica Ledesma.
Aggressively participating in the City Council Sessions’ deliberation and proving that he is independent minded, he earned the moniker “fighter na consejo”.
He clamored for good governance when he exposed the 2008 COA report which states that the City Government does not comply with the provisions of the Government Procurement Reform Act (R.A. 9184).
An advocate raising environmental concerns, he calls on the City Government to protect all watershed areas of the City and for the strict implementation of R.A. 9003 approved on January 26, 2001, and its Implementing Rules and Regulations or the Philippine Ecological Solid Waste Management Act.
He stands up always to defend the interest especially of the poor constituents. Jimenez is proud to say that “My Loyalty is the people of Zamboanga City.”
