Ms. Hyacinth R. Lim, a fourth year BS Nursing student of Ateneo de Zamboanga University was crowned the 2009 Miss Zamboanga during a beauty pageant held last October 8 at the Astoria Regency, Pasonanca.  Throughout the pageant night, candidates competed in three categories - swimsuit, evening gown and question and answer. Ms. Sherrydelle Sarreal crowned her successor at the conclusion of the event. The rest of the winners are: Ms. Alexis Marie F. Manansala, 1st Runner, she will assume the role of Miss Zamboanga in case Hyacinth is unable to fulfill her duties Kriskate D. Lee,2nd Runner-up Rowena Victoria B. Eraham, 3rd Runner-up Grace Leolyn W. Algoso, 4th Runner-up Special Awards: Best in Long Gown - Hyacinth R. Lim Best in Swimsuit - Kriskate D. Lee Miss Photogenic - Kriskate D. Lee Miss Zamboanga 2009 will represent the city in major national pageants including Miss Philippines. |
